Notifications Don't Disappear — Using the Notification Center
DooTalk and project chat notifications collect in the title bar bell even after you dismiss the toast. They stay until you clear them.
When a new message arrives in DooTalk or a project chat, a toast notification pops up in the corner of your screen. You close it with the × button, and it seems to be gone — but it isn't. It collects in the notification bell in the title bar.
Closing the toast doesn't lose the notification
The × button on a toast only removes it from the screen. The notification itself stays in the bell on the right side of the title bar. When there's a dot next to the bell, you have unread notifications waiting.
If a toast slides in while you're busy and disappears, that's fine. Open the bell later — it'll all be there.
What happens when you click the bell
Clicking the bell opens a card list in a popover. Each card shows which chat the notification came from and when it arrived.
Click a card to go directly to that chat. The card disappears from the list once you open it.
When you've seen everything
The "Mark all read" button clears the entire list at once. Once it's empty, the bell shows "No new notifications."
Notifications stay after a restart
Unread notifications persist across app restarts. Messages that arrived today will still be waiting in the bell when you open the app tomorrow morning.
