What You Ask AI to Do Changes

When AI is already in your folder and conversations don't disappear — first you get faster. Then what you ask starts to change.

When AI is already in your folder and conversations don't disappear — at first, you get faster. Same work, done quicker. But use it a little longer, and something else happens. What you ask AI to do starts to change.

First: Faster

You stop re-explaining. The AI already knows your folder, already remembers last week's decisions. Work gets done quicker. This part is predictable — better tools make you faster.

Then: Bigger

At some point, you find yourself saying something like:

"Look at these three files, compare them to the direction we decided last week, and tell me if this approach still makes sense."

That request is possible for two reasons: the AI can already see those files, and it remembers last week's decision.

Not Working Differently — Doing Different Work

Faster and different aren't the same thing. Faster means more of the same work. Different means doing things you used to skip because they felt like too much trouble.

"Does this direction still make sense?" — before, you'd need to explain everything just to ask that. With accumulated context, you just ask. No setup, no re-explaining.

One-off questions become ongoing projects. What you tell the AI today becomes context for tomorrow. That's not a performance upgrade — that's a different way of working.

First Faster, Then Different

Most people start using myDoo as a way to use AI more conveniently. Less re-explaining. Less copy-pasting.

But somewhere along the way, what they're asking changes. One-off questions become projects. "I should handle this myself" becomes "I could just ask the AI."

When the conditions are in place, you start attempting things you wouldn't have before.
