v2.1.57 — Notifications That Don't Vanish, Memory That Doesn't Cut Out
Notifications collect in a bell instead of vanishing. Recall stays available offline. Collaboration sync is faster and quieter.
Two things slip away while you work: a notification you glanced past, and your memory the moment the internet drops. v2.1.57 holds onto both.
Notification Center — It Collects in the Bell
Before, when a new message arrived in a DooTalk or a project chat, it popped up as a toast in the corner — and once you dismissed it, it was gone. Anything that came while you were away was lost.
Now notifications collect in the bell on the title bar.
- Click the bell and everything that arrived unfolds as time-ordered cards (without covering your screen)
- Tap a card to jump straight to that conversation; the notification clears once seen
- "Mark all read" empties it in one tap
- Close and reopen the app — unread notifications are still there
Dismiss a toast in a hurry, and the message is still waiting in the bell.
Your Memory Doesn't Cut Out Offline
myDoo's memory (Recall) is now always saved to your own computer first. So —
- Even with no internet, you can search past conversations and recall "what was I working on recently"
- Search runs locally, so it's faster
- When you work as a team, your memory stays on your machine; teammates' memory is fetched from the server only when you actually need it
Your memory isn't tied to a server connection. What's yours stays where you are.
Collaboration Sync Got Faster and Quieter
When several people share one folder, files could be slow to reach others, or the same file would shuttle back and forth endlessly. We reworked the internals this time.
- File changes reach collaborators in about a second (much faster than before)
- Files that haven't changed aren't sent again — quiet and light
- The shared scratch space is now named "Chat Assets," so its role is clear
Why We Did This
Work shouldn't cut out. A notification should wait until you see it, memory should be there whether or not you're online, and shared files should arrive without waiting. v2.1.57 is the release that reinforced one promise — "it doesn't cut out" — from the inside.
